Hiya Crypto_X100_Hunter, thanks for joining our interview! Could you please introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your background? How many people are on your team? How did you first get involved in the crypto world, and when did you discover Alephium? What inspired you to start building on Alephium?
Hello, my name is CRYPTO_X100_HUNTER and I have been working in the crypto sector since 2020/2021. I came across this sector by chance after some people I knew were talking about Bitcoin. I then looked for other projects relatively quickly and came across ALEPHIUM in mid/late 2023.
It looks like you have around 26k Twitter followers and nearly 4k members in your Telegram group. Can you tell us more about this group?
The Twitter channel and also the Telegram channel have been growing continuously since the end of 2022. It's all organic growth. I think that many of my followers will also find their way to ALPH, and many have already joined.
That's Awesome! What inspired you to create GRFN?
We were inspired to create GRFN by our passionate Cryptogriffon community. GRFN isn’t just a meme; it’s a symbol of our collective identity and commitment to fairness within the Alephium ecosystem. Our goal was to create something that would not only engage our community but also represent the spirit of collaboration and innovation that defines us.
Beautiful. This is actually the becoming a trend where an agnostic group finds their way in Alephium. I think we have Club Dinero as the best example. Let's talk about the GRFN token. Can you tell us about it? Is it a meme token or a utility token?
GRFN is a meme token created on Alephium using the Alephium Token Creator. It has a maximum supply of 10,000,000 tokens, with all tokens in circulation and 1,550,000 burned.
ELI5, what are you guys building? When can we expect these to launch? Is there any popular dapp from a different blockchain that we can compare it to?
Our project has a strong focus on building a vibrant community. The community collaborates on developing mini-games and dApps. The launch dates for these mini-games are yet to be determined and will depend on the progress made by the community. Everything is decided collectively by the community.
Looking ahead, how do you see GRFN evolving? What changes or new features do you plan to implement in the future?
GRFN is entirely community-driven, with no official team or roadmap. Development decisions are made by the community, and it began as a meme token. Looking ahead, GRFN's evolution will depend on community initiatives and contributions. Future changes or new features will emerge based on what the community collectively decides to build or implement.
Are there any projects in the space that you plan to collaborate with, perhaps in the DeFi or maybe NFT sectors?
At the moment not planned partner with Defi or similar Projects. But GRFN is open for bigger partnerships. And the community will decide about this.
Could you share some of the challenges you faced while building in Alephium and how you overcame them? Were there any specific hurdles related to integrating Alephium?
We will focus on collaborating exclusively with projects within the Alephium ecosystem, including those in DeFi and NFT sectors.
Any advice or tips for people new to the crypto space? What should they keep in mind as they explore DeFi dynamics or maybe just crypto investing in general?
It is important to remain calm in the crypto sector. To examine all projects yourself again and then decide on an investment.

My Thoughts…
It is quite rare for the gazette to feature meme tokens. So far, we've only covered NGU and TOP. GRFN deserves recognition as they are one of the first few non-OG based projects or communities to make a significant impact in the ecosystem. I view them as an agnostic chain community that has become ALPH enthusiasts, which is always inspiring to see.
As Alephium grows into a multi-chain universe, expanding through ETH, BNB, SOL, OP, BASE, and beyond, it is very likely that many more projects like this will be launched on Alephium. Communities that have been inter-galactic for light years will find a home in Alephium.
